The basin faucet is one of the faucets that every household uses, and it has a very high daily usage rate. However, no matter how good the faucet is, it will encounter various problems after being used for a long time. Therefore, let me talk about the common problems and solutions of basin faucets.
The common problems with basin faucets are as follows:
1. After the lifting rod of the basin faucet drain is lifted, the basin cannot hold water
The basin drain seat ring is not sealed, and oil ash or silicone is injected at the bottom of the seat ring.
2. The water output of the faucet decreases or splits
Excessive impurities in the water affect the normal operation of the aerator. Unscrew the aerator, soak it in vinegar and clean it, then reinstall the faucet.
3. The basin faucet and kitchen faucet have low water output and do not produce bubbles
Low water pressure, remove the faucet and replace the aerator.
4. Leakage at the connection between the hose and the faucet
Improper installation and deformation of rubber ring, replace rubber ring and reinstall.
5. The faucet cannot be turned off
Remove the valve core, remove any foreign objects, and if there is water leakage after installing the valve core, replace it again.
The common problems with induction basin faucets are as follows:
1. The faucet cannot produce water
Reason for malfunction: ① Shorter sensing distance; ② The battery energy is depleted; ③ The sensing window is too dirty; ④ Stop water supply; ⑤ The filter screen is too dirty; ⑥ Pipeline blockage; ⑦ The water pressure is not within the applicable range.
Corresponding solution: ① Wait for 2 minutes before using the remote control to reset the distance; ② Replace the battery with a new one; ③ Clean the sensing window; ④ Clean the filter screen; ⑤ Clean the pipeline; ⑥ Redesign according to the specification sheet.
2. The faucet's water flow never stops
Reason for malfunction: ① Water pressure is not within the applicable range; ② The battery has run out of power.
Corresponding solutions: ① Redesign according to the specification table; ② Replace the battery with a new one.
3. After turning off the faucet, there is still a small amount of flowing water
Reason for malfunction: ① The filter screen is too dirty; ② The water pressure is not within the applicable range.
Corresponding solutions: ① Clean the filter screen; ② Redesign according to specifications.
4. The water output of the faucet is too small
Reason for malfunction: The filter screen is too dirty.
Corresponding solution: Clean the filter screen.
